Headings

Headings play a major part in structuring pages and organizing content for visitors to easily find the information they're looking for. Below is a brief description of the most common heading levels found on The Wallflower Wiki.

Heading Level Syntax Usage Example
Level 2 == <TEXT> == Used to separate an article into major sections == Section Title ==
Level 3 === <TEXT> === Used to separate a section on an article into subsections === Subsection Title ===

Articles

Formatting

  • Bold the title of the article in the introductory paragraph.
  • Put titles of series in italics and titles of chapters or episodes in "quotations."
  • Add articles to the appropriate categories.
  • Mark articles that are missing information as stubs using the {{Stub}} template.
  • Mark articles that you are currently working on using the {{Wip}} template.
  • When linking articles, do not use [[Chapter 1|chapter 1]] to make a link lowercase. Simply stick with [[Chapter 1]].
  • Use a character's first name if they are mentioned in articles other than their own (e.g., use "Sunako" instead of "Sunako Nakahara").
  • Use {{AnimeEp}} and {{DramaEp}} templates to link to specific episodes in the anime and drama series respectively.

Characters

  • {{Infobox Character}}: Use this infobox.
  • Introduction: Do not use a heading. This section is a short introduction to the character, starting with their full name, bold and in Western style (i.e., first name followed by last name), with their original Japanese name and its italicized Hepburn romanization in parentheses. Any organizations they're affiliated with should also be included here.
Example: Sunako Nakahara (中原 スナコ, Nakahara Sunako) is...
  • Appearance: Use a Level 2 heading. Briefly describe the character's physical appearance, such as body type, height, hair color and length, eye color, as well as notable features, such as tattoos and piercings. • Gallery: Use a Level 2 heading. This section should be indented once, italicized, and should only include a link to the character's personal gallery, which should link to a subpage of the character's main article. Use {{Main}} to generate main article links.
Example: Main article: Sunako Nakahara/Gallery
  • Quotes: Use a Level 2 heading. List memorable quotes by the character in the series using the {{Quotebox}} template.
